Otis Jackson Foundation

Sponsored by our club, this foundation started in honor of our late Past President, Otis Jackson, educator and graduate of Oglethorpe. Scholarship selection is patterned after the Rhode’s Scholar. Beginning in Rotary year 2006-2007, the foundation will provide two, two year scholarships beginning with the student’s junior year, providing $10,000 in tuition assistance to each student, paid in increments of $5,000 per year. The first recipient of the two year scholarship is Latoya McCants, now a rising senior. The second recipient is Carly A. Hallman, a rising junior.
