Club thanked for gift to Recovery Center event featuring Patty Duke

We received a thank you letter from St. Jude's Recovery Center for the club's $1,000 donation to the 2009 Voices of Recovery Luncheon. The event is Wednesday, September 30, 11:30 a.m. at the Atlanta History Center and will feature guest speaker, actress Mariel Hemingway.

Your generosity will help provide homeless and low-income men, women, and families in our community with the treatment and support services needed to recover from the disease of addiction and live healthy, drug-free lives.

St. Jude's detoxification, residential, and outpatient treatment programs serve

approximately 1,700 adults each year. The agency also provides over 400 children and families with the education, counseling, and support needed to deal with a loved one's addiction. The majority would not receive help otherwise.

On behalf of our clients and their families, thank you once again for your financial support. Together, we are making a positive difference in the lives of many hurting and disadvantaged people in the metropolitan Atlanta community.
