Visiting Rotarian Delivers Flag from West Africa

A visiting Rotarian to Monday's meeting delivered a flag from a club in West Africa. Clara Mvogo is President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Sinkor, Liberia.

According to the club's website, it was originally chartered as a member of Rotary International in May 2008, and is "the fastest and more vibrant of the three active Rotary Clubs in Liberia."

Liberia is the only African country never to have been colonized. It was founded by freed slaves from America.
