Buckhead Rotary Foundation Gives $5,000 to Haiti, You May Add More

by Means Davis

Dear Buckhead Rotarians,

The needs in Haiti are well documented, and your Buckhead Rotary Foundation is leading the way by donating $5,000 to the District 6900 Charitable Fund for Rotary's Shelter Box program. If you do not know about Shelter Box, Google it and I believe you will be impressed.

So, what can you as an individual member do? Give and give some more. There are hundreds of thousands homeless, and these Shelter Boxes provide not only shelter but a means to cook a hot meal and survive. The way to give is directly to the District 6900 Charitable Fund c/o Cheryl Greenway - Treasurer

Rotary International District 6900, 935 Forrest Street, Suite C Roswell, GA 30075.

I know many of you have already given, and I thank you for that. If you can, please do so again. The needs will be there for a long time and Rotary has the staying power and the resolve to make it work!

Yours in Rotary Service,

Means
