President's Message: April 30, 2026

What an incredible afternoon we shared this past Monday! I want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to every one of you who joined us for our Sandwich Project.

Seeing 50 Rotarians and guests roll up their sleeves and dive in was truly inspiring. Because of your energy and hard work, we didn't just meet our goal—we absolutely shattered it. Together, we hand-crafted 1,020 turkey and cheese sandwiches, setting a brand-new club record!

A Special Thank You

We owe a debt of gratitude to Miriam Falaki and Allie Geisler. They handled the heavy lifting behind the scenes, organizing everything from the mountain of sandwich fixings to that delicious Mexican buffet dinner we enjoyed afterward. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and service that none of us will soon forget.

Beyond the numbers, these sandwiches are now providing much-needed meals to our neighbors through some of our most trusted community partners:

  • Boyce L. Ansley School
  • The Elizabeth Foundation
  • Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission
  • Midtown Assistance Center

These organizations ensure that your hard work goes directly into the hands of those in our community who need it most. Thank you for showing up, breaking records, and embodying the true spirit of "Service Above Self."

Volunteer Opportunity you Pawsitively Don't Want to Miss!

Lend a paw (or a hand) through our Pawsitivity Partnership bringing together Buckhead Rotarians supporting LifeLine's mission to keep pets with their people. We are delivering pet food to those in need. We will meet at OpenHand for an orientation and then each carload will hit the road to help our furry friends and their people.

May You Never go Thirsty!

Join us for casual conversations, drinks, and snacks in a relaxed and friendly environment. Fellow Rotarian Jim Floyd and his wife Nancy are hosting. Weather permitting, we will enjoy some sips and snacks on their lovely deck. We would love you to join us for this special evening of fellowship.

545 Pinetree Drive, NE, Atlanta 30305
